Multi-location SEO
SEO for Businesses With Multiple Locations
For brands with several branches, offices or stores, we organize Business Profiles, location pages and on-site details so each real location can be found in local search, without duplicate profiles or thin, copied pages.

Why it’s different
Every Location Competes in Its Own Local Results
Local results depend on distance from the searcher, so each branch competes in its own area. A strong head office profile doesn’t make a branch in another city visible.
At the same time, many locations multiply the risks: duplicate profiles, inconsistent details and near-identical location pages that add little value.

- Closed or moved branches still showing as open
- Location pages that can’t be reached through internal links
- Different phone numbers or hours on the site and the profile
What we will never do
- Create pages or profiles for places you don’t operate
- Publish copy-paste city pages
- Use virtual offices to fake a local presence
- Promise rankings in every city

What multi-location SEO involves
Multi-location SEO helps each real location of a business appear in its own local search results. It combines one compliant Google Business Profile per location, a useful location page for each, consistent business details everywhere, and reporting that shows how each location performs.
Google’s guidelines allow one profile per location and expect chain locations in the same country to share one name, with limited exceptions. Separate profiles for departments or individual practitioners are allowed only in specific cases, so we check those before creating anything.
Verification at scale
Google offers bulk verification for businesses with 10 or more locations of the same business. It isn’t available for service-area businesses or for agencies managing several different businesses in one account, and Google may remove verification from profiles that aren’t actively managed. For smaller groups, each profile is verified individually.
Location pages that deserve to exist
A location page should help someone choose and reach that branch: the full address, hours, phone number, the services offered there, parking or access notes, team information and local reviews or projects you can genuinely show. Pages that swap only the city name are thin and add little value for searchers. If a branch doesn’t have enough unique detail yet, we’d rather keep it on a shared page until it does.
Service-area teams
Businesses that travel to customers set up profiles differently: the address is hidden and a service area is defined. Google says service areas generally shouldn’t extend beyond about two hours’ drive from the base, and only separately staffed locations qualify for their own profiles.
For single-location businesses, start with our local SEO and Business Profile optimization pages.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions.
Does each location need its own Business Profile?
Each real, staffed location that serves customers can have one profile. Google’s guidelines don’t allow duplicate profiles for the same location.
Should every location have its own page?
Usually yes, if the page can include genuinely local information. Pages that only change the city name add little value.
Can we verify all our locations at once?
Google offers bulk verification for 10 or more locations of the same business, but not for service-area businesses.
What happens when a branch closes?
The profile should be marked as closed and the location page redirected or updated so customers aren’t sent to a branch that no longer exists.
Can you create pages for cities where we have no office?
Not as fake location pages. Service-area pages can work when they genuinely describe the service you provide in that area.
Can you guarantee rankings in every city?
No. Local results depend on relevance, distance and prominence, and the competition differs in every area.
