Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

This policy explains how Laylar (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit laylar.com or contact us. Questions or requests: info@laylar.com.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us: your name, email address, website URL, your goals and any message you include when you request an audit or contact us.
  • Technical information: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) that our hosting provider records for security and to keep the site working.
  • Analytics: if you allow it, Google Analytics 4 records how the site is used — for example pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location (country/city), device and browser — using cookies and similar identifiers. We use this only in aggregate to improve the website.

How we use it

  • To prepare and send the SEO audit you requested.
  • To reply to your enquiries and follow up about them.
  • To keep the website secure and protect our forms from spam.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful and how visitors find us (Google Analytics, with your consent where required).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that significantly affect you.

Legal bases (UK and EEA visitors)

We process the information you send us to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (your audit or enquiry), and technical information for our legitimate interest in running and securing the website. Where consent is required, we rely on your consent for analytics cookies, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the website and communicate with you — for example our website host, our email provider and Google (Google Analytics). They may only use the information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where data protection law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and audit information for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up, and then delete it unless we need to keep it longer for legal reasons or you become a client.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under US state privacy laws, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. Email info@laylar.com to make a request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to measure how the website is used. We do not use advertising cookies, and advertising features are turned off.

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you allow analytics cookies. Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are not tracked with analytics cookies unless they choose Accept. For visitors elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can choose Decline at any time. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it with the cookie settings link, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Google processes Analytics data as described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
